What's a piece of clothing, really? Where does it end?
Salotto Albio presents the first Anemonia cockade dress up party in Berlin with Onek4ever, an extended session of mixing your favorite clothes, accessories & objects with the Anemonia archive & a special collection of handmade cockades.
Dressing up together creates a certain intimacy. You end up unmasking a little - sharing secrets, small gossip, talking about how you feel in your own skin. No dress code, no judgment of ourselves - just a natural flow, and new identities born from exchanging with whoever is next to you.
This is celebrated as a salotto moment: a space for dialogue shaped by the people who enter it. As part of Salotto Albio's Work in Progress series, this Sunday afternoon will bring its audience straight into the creative process.
Guests are invited to bring a few of their most loved clothes and objects - the ones that mean something to them - and join Anemonia and Annie (Onek4ever) for an afternoon of styling together. We’ll see how many different lives a single piece can have, mixing what guests bring with the Anemonia archive and the cockades from their new capsule.
Entirely made from upcycled fabrics, the cockades are folded and hand-sewn in a small workshop in Italy. Born from Annie’s first prototype in August 2024, they have now been reimagined as the Anemonia+Onek4ever capsule.
About
Anemonia began in 2022 with an intuitive approach to clothes and styling, guided more by touch, feeling and play than by rules. Their way of working treats garments as open-ended objects that can be layered, shifted and worn in unexpected ways.
Annie, working as Onek4ever, shares this instinct for giving objects and garments new lives. Her approach to styling is playful and transformative - a skirt can become a scarf, a familiar piece can suddenly feel entirely different. The collaboration between Anemonia and Onek4ever grew from this shared way of looking at clothes: not as fixed objects, but as something that can keep changing depending on who wears them and how.
